Behind me you can see design projects of Artekey company, they all are related to the kitchen appliances, and some of these projects will be definitely produced by real manufacturers one day.
My name is Lee Walton, and I’m representative of LAHTI UNIVERSITY OF APPLIED SCIENCES. I’m really happy to be here and to support my friends and my colleagues from Stieglitz Academy. I think they are doing an amazing job. One of my favorites things about this Forum is very close relationship with industry and with clients.
I was impressed with the Forum from the very beginning: when I entered the Stieglitz Academy building and saw how beautiful it was. Everything I saw- the exposition, the projects – all these things are really impressive. This Forum reminds me Dutch design week which we organized in my city. It is amazing. It is brilliant.
It’s a great pleasure to be here at the Saint-Petersburg International Design Forum. this is an exceptional opportunity to people to come together to talk about design and to exchange ideas. I‘m glad to have a chance to see lots of new amazing projects and lots of inspirational things. Some of the students’ projects and some of the designs are really remarkable. It was here that I created about 15 projects, working together with large industrial companies. At International industrial design innovations forum I presented an interactive kitchen floor - one of my brightest projects. I want the design to remain the work of my life. A life in which I'm happy.»

I've always loved coming up with various fantastic things and draw them, but the idea about education and career in this field was formed relatively recently.
